The summer has set in with a vengeance. And even as the mercury heads north, carmakers in India plan to heat up the automobile sector further with the launch of some cool cars by June this year.

Enthusiasts have waited eagerly for some of these cars for a while now. Here is a brief overview of what the carmakers have in store for us this some.

Tata Aria

The Tatas have planned for a number of models to be launched this year. Tata Motors displayed its brand new MUV, Aria, at the Delhi Auto Expo in January this year and industry sources say that the car might be launched in April.

Aria is all set to compete with Toyota Innova and Ford Endeavour and is expected to be priced around Rs 12-14 lakh (Rs 1.2-1.4 million).
